Submit your Product for Approval
Once your product has been tested to the Avid specifications, you can submit the plug-in to Avid for approval. You may start this process by adding the product to your account and filling out the form with the required product details. You can save the form at any time, and continue filling it out later. When you save the form, the product entry is added to the My Products dashboard where you can reopen it at any time.
Part of the submission process requires that you validate your plug-in as per Avid’s specifications. Links to the Avid third-party developer test site are provided in the form. These tests are mandatory.
Before submitting your product form, click Review to check all of the details (such as compatibility, keywords, and descriptions) very carefully. Once you have submitted your product for approval, you cannot make any more changes in the product or configuration until the product is either approved or rejected by the Avid team.
You will receive an email notification confirming your submission, and another notification when the product has been approved. From time to time, you can check the status in the My Products list to see the state of the approval process.
You should also check for comments or notifications (top right of your browser next to the Help button) in case Avid requires you to submit additional information.
