Update Your Product
If you need to update information related your plug-in or upload a new version of the product, you will need to resubmit a product form for approval. Depending on the type of update, the approval process should not be as lengthy as the first time.
To update a product that is already active on the Marketplace:
1. If the product is already active on the Marketplace, click the New Version button.
2. You are required to enter a name that is different from the existing product. e.g. If the current product is called “AudioManager v1.0”, then you can call the new version “AudioManager v1.5”.
3. Make the changes on the product form, and upload new files if necessary.
4. Click Next to move to subsequent pages and then click Save to resubmit the product to Avid for approval.
The old version will remain active until the new version is approved by Avid and activated. At that point, the old version will be removed from the dashboard. You will be able to see the details of the original version (by clicking on the plug-in name), however, on the details page of the plug-in there will be no Save or Submit buttons. The only button that will appear will be the “Return to Dashboard” button.
To update a product that is not yet active:
1. Click the product name.
2. Make the necessary changes on the product form.
3. Click Next to move to subsequent pages and then click Save to resubmit the product to Avid for approval.
