Workspace Right-Click Menu
Pro Tools lets you Right-click on items in the Locations pane (such as volumes and folders) and the Browser pane (such as folders and files) to access relevant contextual commands. These commands are specific to the type of items selected in the Locations pane or the Browser pane, as described below.
Create Catalog from Selection
Creates a fully indexed catalog of all items selected in either the Locations or the Browser pane.
Reveal in Finder/Explorer
Opens the corresponding parent window in the Finder (Mac) or Explorer (Windows) for the currently selected file.
Open in New Workspace
Opens the selected item in a new browser. The selected item is highlighted in the new browser.
Update Index
Updates the index for the currently selected volumes or folders.
Delete Index
Deletes the index of files for the items in the selected volume or folder from the database.
Delete Index for All Offline Volumes
Deletes the index for all offline volumes from the database.
Invert Selection
Reverses (inverts) the current selection.
Select All
Selects all items shown in the browser.
Calculate Waveform
Calculates the waveform displays for selected audio files, or for all audio files within selected volumes, folders, or catalogs.

Calculate Elastic Analysis
Calculates Elastic Audio analysis data for all selected audio files. Analyzed files are indicated by a blue clock for sample-based files and by a green metronome for tick-based files. Analyzed files where a tempo has been detected are also updated as tick-based, display their duration in Bars|Beats, and display their native tempo in the Tempo column. You can view the progress of Elastic Audio analysis in the Task window.
Clear Elastic Analysis
Clears Elastic Audio analysis data for all selected audio files. Files cleared of Elastic Audio analysis data revert to sample timebase, display their duration in minutes and seconds, and do not report a tempo.

Select Offline Files
Selects all files that are currently offline.
Select Online Files
Selects all files that are online.
Select Transfer Files
Selects all files identified as Transfer files (files found on media that do not support playback).
Relink Offline
Opens the Relink window for items selected in the current project.
Relink
Opens the Relink window, with all selected files from the current browser displayed and selected as Files to Match. This command is available for catalogs and projects only.
Copy and Relink
Copies items selected in the current project browser to a chosen location, and relinks the project to the copies instead of the originals. Use this to easily move files from a Transfer to a Performance volume. This command is also available in selected catalogs to copy items and relink the current catalog to the copies.
Duplicate
Creates a duplicate of the selected items in the same location.
Rename
Renames the selected item.
Permissions
Lets you set Transfer, Playback, or Record permissions for the selected volume (see “Volume Permissions” on page 123).
Lock
Locks all selected items. Any files already locked remain so. Locking a folder locks all files and sub-folders it contains
Unlock
Unlocks the selected items.
Delete
Lets you delete selected files, folders, and catalogs from disk, or move selected items to the Trash (Mac) or to the Recycle Bin (Windows).
