Nondestructive MIDI Editing

The two most common Track Views you will use for MIDI and Instrument tracks are Notes and Clips:

• Use Clips view for arranging clips.

• Use Notes view for inserting and editing individual MIDI notes, and for working with and affecting groups of notes.

To toggle the Track View between Notes and Clips, click in the track you want to toggle and press Control+Minus (Mac) or Start+Minus (Windows) on the alphanumeric keyboard.
