Product Guidelines for the Avid Marketplace
To ensure that you have built your plug-in to the proper specifications, refer to the following documents:
• Artwork Specifications: Product image dimensions must be 1000 x 750 pixels (JPG only)
• Packaging requirements:
- In order to offer any kind of content as a product on the Avid Marketplace, you must package it into a single file. This file can be uploaded from the Add Product page.
- Include a product definition file.
- Include the online product documentation (if any) in the package
• Qualification Requirements:
- You must test your plug-in with Avid’s automated plug-in test tool and carry out the necessary AAX qualification tests. All instructions are provided from the Add Product page in the Avid Marketplace application.
- Provide Avid with appropriate licenses to test the plug-in.
- Include any testing instructions that the Avid QA engineers can follow.
• Distribution: Avid Marketplace offers full and rental options for your product. Determine the pricing scheme and prepare the necessary part numbers associated with your offerings. Note that full and rental options must each have a different part number.
