Key Commands for Bypassing Inserts
Pro Tools provides key-click commands for bypassing inserts on selected tracks in the Mix window:
• Control-click (Mac) or Start-click (Windows) an Insert Assignment button in the Mix or Edit window to bypass it and all inserts below it on a track.
• Control-Option-click (Mac) or Start+Alt-click (Windows) an Insert Assignment button in the Mix or Edit window to bypass it and all inserts below it on all tracks. This lets you bypass all plug-ins in your project with a single click.
• Press Shift+A to bypass (or un-bypass) all inserts on selected tracks.
• Press Shift+E to bypass (or un-bypass) all EQ plug-ins on selected tracks.
• Press Shift+C to bypass (or un-bypass) all Dynamics plug-ins on selected tracks.
• Press Shift+V to bypass (or un-bypass) all Reverb plug-ins on selected tracks.
• Press Shift+D to bypass (or un-bypass) all Delay plug-ins on selected tracks.
• Press Shift+W to bypass (or un-bypass) all Modulation plug-ins on selected tracks.
