Launch Pro Tools.

 

Open a project.

Pro Tools automatically scans the project for plug-ins that have been used. If the licenses are no longer valid, or you don’t have any of the plug-ins installed on your system, you will be asked if you want download the plug-ins.

 

To renew a license for a plug-in, launch the Avid Application Manager and select that plug-in for renewal/upgrade.

 

To download plug-ins that are not installed on your system, sign in to the Marketplace using your Avid master account.

If this is the first time using the Marketplace, you will need to enter your credentials and link your iLok key to your Avid master account.

 

If you don’t have an Avid account, visit www.avid.com/US/Account/orientation and follow the on-screen instructions for creating an Avid master account.

 

From the Avid Marketplace, search and select the plug-in that you want to download.

Select the type of license you want to purchase—Perpetual or Rental. The plug-in is silent installed and saved to your \Program Files\Common Files\Avid\Audio\Plug-Ins folder.
