View Feeds
Feeds are posted messages, shared files and links from people and groups that you follow on the Avid Artist Community.
To view your feeds:
1. Select the Connections page.
2. Select Feed from the left panel.
On the right side you will see a list of feeds from people/groups that you are following (if there are any).
3. If the list of feeds is long, you can filter it by selecting To Me or Bookmarked.
What I follow | Displays all feeds of people/groups that you are following. |
To Me | Displays only feeds to which you are the only correspondent. |
Bookmarked | Displays feeds that you have bookmarked. (Selected from the More Actions drop-down list to the right of the feed). |
4. You can filter or sort your feeds further by selecting one of the following options from the Show drop-down list:
All Updates | Displays all feeds. |
Fewer Updates | Displays fewer posts. |
People | Displays posts from individual members that you are following. |
Groups | Displays posts only from groups that you have joined. |
Questions | Displays only posts that have questions. |
Post date | Sorts the feeds by post date. |
Most recent activity | Sorts the feeds starting from the most recent date. |
To perform an action on a feed:
1. Select one of the following for any given feed:
Comment | Add a comment and/or attach a file to this feed. |
Like | Click to indicate that you like this feed. You can also add a comment and/or attach a file. |
Share | Forward this feed to another member or group. |
2. Click the drop-down button to the right of the feed and choose one of the following:
Bookmark | Mark this feed for follow-up. |
Add Topics | Add a topic name to this feed. You can add this same topic name to other feeds, so make sure that it is spelled consistently. All feeds with topic names can be viewed when you select Topics on the left panel. |
Flag as Inappropriate | Sets a flag on this post to indicate that it has inappropriate content. |
Delete | If you are the creator, you may delete this post. |
To post a message to your followers:
1. Click Post at the top of the page.
2. Enter a message and click Share.
