Hardware Setup
Configure your audio interface using its own Control Panel (consult the manufacturer’s instructions for information specific to your audio interface). This will be audio interface that is selected as the Playback Engine in the Playback Engine dialog.
To configure your audio interface:
1. In Pro Tools | First, choose Setup > Hardware.
Pro Tools | First launches the Control Panel for your audio hardware.
2. Configure your audio hardware to suit your needs according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
