Mixdown : Final Mixdown (with Export Audio Mix)

Final Mixdown (with Export Audio Mix)
In final mixdown, you create a mix that includes all your edits, automation, and effects processing.
To export a final mix:
1. Adjust track output levels, and finalize any mix automation for each track in the project.
2. Adjust any real-time plug-in and effects settings and automation for each track in the project.
3. Make sure that all of the tracks you want to include in the export are audible (not muted or inactive).
4. Assign the output of each of the tracks you want to include in your export to the same output or bus path.
5. Add dither (see “Using Dither” on page 815).
6. Do one of the following:
*To export the entire project, click Return to Zero in the Transport to go to the beginning of the project.
*By default, the export will end at the last audio waveform or MIDI note. To end the export sooner, make an Edit or Timeline selection to define the end (and start) of the export.
*To export a portion of the project, make a selection in the Edit window.
7. Choose File > Export > Audio Mix.
8. Choose the source path you want to export.
9. Configure other Export Audio Mix settings as appropriate. See “Export Audio Mix Options” on page 819.
10. Click Export.
