Exporting Sibelius Files
Pro Tools | First lets you export MIDI from your project as a Sibelius (.sib) file. You can choose to export the score as a Sibelius file for later use or score transfer, or to open the score in Sibelius immediately (if Sibelius) is installed on your computer.
Sibelius 5.x or higher is required to open .sib files exported from Pro Tools | First.
To export MIDI as a Sibelius file:
1. Select the MIDI and Instrument tracks that you want to export as a Sibelius file.
2. Choose File > Export > To Sibelius.
3. Select a destination and click Save.
All Instrument and MIDI tracks in the project are exported as a .sib file and Sibelius launches if it is installed on your computer. You can then edit the notation in Sibelius and print the score or parts from Sibelius.
