Checking for Software Updates with Avid Application Manager
Pro Tools |First installs the Avid Application Manager, which can check for application and plug-in updates, either automatically or manually. An Internet connection is required to check for updates.
If updates are available for Pro Tools | First or any plug-ins, Application Manager reports what updates (if any) are available and how important the updates are for your system. You can visit the Avid website to locate, download, and install the appropriate updates for your system.
To manually check for updates:
1. Launch Avid Application Manager.
2. If you are not already logged in, click the Account tab and login to your Avid Master Account.
3. Click the Apps tab to review what updates are available and follow the on-screen instructions.
